The following pictures are examples of vehicles brought to us. These installations show what happens when installers/companies do not follow the correct procedures to prevent corrosion and ensure proper adhesion of the glass to the body. Corrosion on the body REQUIRES additional treatment in order to retain your windshield in your vehicle. Many insurance companies DO NOT cover the expense of correcting or repairing corrosion and deem it as “wear and tear” passing this additional expense on to you.

	This vehicle came in with a severe leak. Upon removal of the windshield this is what we found. This extreme rust on the pinch-weld is due to improper prep & prime on previous installation(s). Damage this bad requires that a body shop perform repairs before a windshield can be installed. This also requires a tow as the customer cannot drive the vehicle.
